Original Peloton Bike, Indoor Stationary Bike, 22" HD Touchscreen
Peloton built an entire fitness category around the combination of quality hardware and live, instructor-led classes, and the Original Bike remains the entry point into that ecosystem. The 22" HD touchscreen streams classes directly, turning a solo workout into something closer to a studio class experience from home.
The updated seat post addresses one of the most common comfort complaints with stationary bikes, giving riders more adjustment range for a proper fit. As the original model rather than the Bike+, it's positioned as a genuine value entry point into the Peloton ecosystem for anyone new to the platform.
A few things about this item:
- 22" HD touchscreen
- Streams live and on-demand classes
- Updated seat post for improved fit
- Indoor stationary bike design
- Entry point into the Peloton class ecosystem
Why we picked it: The 22" touchscreen and live class streaming deliver a genuine studio-style workout experience, not just a stationary bike with a screen bolted on.
Best for: Anyone wanting an instructor-led, class-based indoor cycling experience rather than a basic stationary bike.
Worth knowing:
- Full class streaming requires an ongoing Peloton membership subscription
- As the original model, it lacks some of the additional features found in the Bike+
Reasons to consider it:
- Live and on-demand classes offer real accountability and motivation over solo cycling
