Katia is the founder and creative force behind Môdern Space Gallery. With a passion for interior design and a natural entrepreneurial spirit, she brings together her love of beautiful spaces, thoughtful curation, and meaningful connection to shape the vision of the brand.
Her goal is not simply to help people find beautiful products. It is to create a destination that makes discovering, imagining, and creating a home feel more inspiring and accessible.
A Little About Katia
A design perspective shaped by the world.
Katia's design perspective has been shaped by the places, cultures, and experiences that have influenced her life. Born in the Caribbean island of Haiti, where she spent her early childhood, she developed an appreciation for color, warmth, personality, and the beauty of eclectic spaces.
Her French heritage further nurtured her love for elegance, sophistication, and attention to detail. Years spent in New York City and a couple of decades in Oklahoma, added a layer of urban sleekness, and relaxed farmhouse-coastal charm to her aesthetic.
Today, her style reflects an effortless blend of those influences, bringing together warmth, modern simplicity, relaxed comfort, and timeless character.
Those experiences have also shaped her belief that a beautiful home does not have to follow a single design rule. The best spaces are personal. They welcome people in, reflect who they are, and evolve alongside the lives being lived within them.
