Cangshan Kitchen Knives | S1 Series German Steel 23-PC Knife Block Set - White
A knife set is only as good as its steel, and Cangshan's S1 Series uses German steel across the entire 23-piece set rather than mixing quality between the main knives and filler pieces. That consistency matters over years of use, since a full block set is only genuinely useful if every knife holds an edge and feels balanced in hand.
At 23 pieces, this covers the full range of kitchen tasks — from paring to bread to kitchen shears — meaning fewer gaps that force you to buy individual knives separately later. The White block gives it a clean, modern countertop presence rather than the traditional dark wood block most sets default to.
A few things about this item:
- 23-piece knife block set
- German steel construction throughout
- White knife block
- Covers full range of kitchen cutting tasks
- Consistent quality across all pieces
Why we picked it: Consistent German steel quality across all 23 pieces, rather than premium main knives paired with filler-quality extras.
Best for: Kitchens wanting a complete, consistently high-quality knife set in one purchase rather than piecing knives together over time.
Worth knowing:
- German steel knives benefit from regular honing and occasional professional sharpening to maintain edge quality
- Hand washing is generally recommended over dishwasher use to preserve the blades and handles long-term
Reasons to consider it:
- Consistent German steel quality across the entire set, not just the main knives
- 23 pieces cover the full range of kitchen tasks without gaps
- White block offers a cleaner, more modern countertop look than traditional wood blocks
